The Albany County Land Bank and its partners are advancing the development of more than 160 units of new, affordable housing in the historic South End of the City of Albany.

The land bank is pivoting to changes in land banking while still maintaining its focus on affordable housing and overall community development.

The Albany County Land Bank is enhancing its approach to community engagement to meet its commitment to connect with and reach people in manners that are respectful and accessible to all.

To celebrate this occasion, we invited residents, local leaders, and community members to join us for a special ceremony to remove the red “X” placard from 257 Second Street and replace it with a For Sale sign.
